In his time off he is an avid offshore fisherman and Coast Guard certified boat captain spending his time on the open ocean and loves clay and skeet shooting.  He is a fitness enthusiast and on occasion competes in sprint distance triathlons and distance running races.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?

I’m a skilled open ocean rescue diver and ocean lifeguard and still occasionally volunteer time to the American Red Cross Volunteer Lifesaving Corps an organization I was a member of growing up and have given 1000s of hours to in order to keep the Jacksonville Beach’s ocean safe.

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?

A pilot flying fighter jets.  I’ve always had a passion for jets and flying and still hope one day to learn how to fly.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?

I’m most happy spending my time on the open ocean several miles from land.  Offshore fishing and captaining vessels is my passion outside of work.

What would be your personal motto?

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.

Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?
