Donny has owned and operated DiscoverTec for over 20 years. He works with the teams on the day to day operations of every facet of the company. He even manages to make time to sit in the bean bag chairs and chill with the team members.

Technology is always changing and it's our job to stay ahead of the curve.

Donny founded DiscoverTec in 1993, incorporated in 1994 and launched the web application development division in 1995.

Prior to DiscoverTec, he graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Management Information Systems. Additionally, he is the founder of other companies including The Lloyd Williams Foundation, My Executive Center, The Victory Marketing Team, and SkySuite.

In 2005, Donny was selected by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the Top 40 under 40 Up and Comers. He is currently the Assistant Governor of Rotary Club District 6970. Donny serves on multiple boards including Hendricks Day School.

He and his wife Julie have a daughter named Meagan. They often take trips back home to Mississippi where they enjoy the peace and nature of their farm.

How do you explain your job to people who know very little about the Internet?

I’m the Owner & CEO of DiscoverTec, a full service web development, digital marketing and web hosting company.

Who is your favorite Internet celebrity?

I’m not that big into internet celebrities but if I had to pick, Alan Steremberg, co-founder of weather underground.

What unique quality do you possess that you believe makes you good at your job?

I’m very team oriented and focused on tasks at hand.

What is your favorite thing about the Suite 400 space?

I welcome the flexibility of the work environment and how it provides different outlets and stations for people to work.

Tell us one unique fact about your hometown, the place your family is originally from or a place you have lived in over the years.

The largest saw mill in the world at a point in time was located at in my hometown of Moss Point, Mississippi.
