Broadband & Structured Wiring
We have seen the rapid adoption of several new technologies into our homes over the past decade, like the Internet, wireless telecommunications,
satellite TV, home theater, and lighting control, just to name a few. The days of wiring for a few TV and telephone outlets are over.
Today’s houses must be wired for technology. Technology equates to system integration. System integration is the combining of lighting, security, heating and A/C, audio, video, computer, telephone, and even sprinkler systems in a manner that allows them to function as part of a whole system. At the center of this is “Structured Wiring”.
A structured wiring system is a way of organizing the high-performance, low-voltage wiring used for telephone and video distribution throughout your home
Installation:
- Our installation technicians adhere to the EIA/TIA/570B (Residential Communications
Cabling Standard) when installing your structured wiring system.
- All cables are "run" from the Hub to the intended location without any breaks or
splices. This is referred to as star topography.
- In those instances there is not an industry standard, we utilize a set of internal
standards that meet our level of quality and craftsmanship.
What this means to you:
- Improved telephone and video signal transmission
- Flexible system design that allows you to change video and data services without
costly retrofitting expenses.
- A platform for easily integrating additional technologies and services into your home
such as high-speed internet, digital cable and high definition video signals.
Hardware:
- Hub
